Duplicating the job net
Click OK. The job net will be duplicated.
Note
In case of layered job nets, the parent job nets cannot be duplicated. Only the child job nets of the lowest layer can be duplicated.
If a master linked job net, and job nets at levels below the master linked job net, are copied, the duplicate job nets will be copied as normal job nets. However, master linked job nets that contain child job nets cannot be copied.
Linked job nets, and job nets at levels below the linked job nets, cannot be copied. Also, parent job nets that contain linked job nets cannot be copied, just as parent job nets that contain normal child job nets cannot be copied.
The status of a copied job net becomes "Disabled", so click Enable for copied job nets as required.
An error occurs if you specify 85 bytes or more for Job net comment in the Set name window or Copy destination job net comment in the Job Net Copy Destination Specification window when copying job nets for which Copy and start is specified in the Standard information tab of the Job Net Properties window. The job nets are copied but the job net comments and job net properties are the same as the copy source job nets. Change the definitions of the created job nets as required.
Deleting a job net
The following describes procedure and cautions for deleting a job net.
Procedure
Delete a job net by performing one of the following operations.
Select the job net to delete from the Job Selection window of the Systemwalker Operation Manager window. Then, select Delete from the File menu (or select Delete from the pop-up menu displayed by right-clicking). The window to confirm deletion will appear. Click OK to delete the job net.
Select the job net to delete from the Job Net Management window. Then, select Delete from the File menu (or select Delete from the pop-up menu displayed by right-clicking). The window to confirm deletion will appear. Click OK to delete the job net.
Note
If a job net in the first layer is deleted in layered job nets, the second layer job nets will become the first layer job nets.
Use the following procedure to delete a child job net from the parent job net.
Displaying the Change Job Net window of the parent job net
Display the Change Job Net window of the parent job net.
Deleting a child job net
Select the job net to delete in the Job Flow display area of the Change Job Net window, then select Delete from the Edit menu (or select Delete from the pop-up menu displayed by right-clicking).
As a result, the targeted child job net will get out of the parent job net and become a job net of the first layer. It is displayed right under the belonging projects in the Job Selection window of the Systemwalker Operation Manager window. To further delete job nets, see "Procedure" in the "Deleting a job net" section.
If a parent job net where a linked job net has been registered as a job is deleted, the linked job net, and any job nets at levels below the linked job net, will also be deleted.
To delete only the linked job net, use the following procedure:
Open the Change Job Net window
Delete linked job nets
Select the linked job net to be deleted in the job flow display area of the Change Job Net window, and then select Delete from either the Edit menu or the right-click popup menu.
Save the parent job net
Select Save from the File menu of the Change Job Net window.
As a result, the linked job net and any job nets at layers below the linked job net will be deleted.
Master linked job nets cannot be simply deleted. All of the linked job nets that refer to the master linked job net must be deleted before the master linked job net can be deleted. Job nets that have been copied via a "copy and start" operation do not need to be deleted in order to delete a master linked job net.
The Master Linked Job Net List window can be used to check which linked job nets refer to a master linked job net.

Note
Deletion of base job nets
When the job net declared as the base job net is deleted, the startup days of the job net for which the deleted job net is specified as the Standard Information for the startup days are also deleted. Be sure to check for any problem before deleting the base job net.
