This section explains the Backup Wizard for Exchange Server and the Restore Wizard for Exchange Server operating environments.
Refer to "Hardware Requirements" in "Operating Environment of ETERNUS SF Manager" in the Installation and Setup Guide for information on the required Management Server hardware.
The required backup server hardware must satisfy all of the following conditions:

"Hardware Requirements" in "Operating Environment of Storage Cruiser's Agent" in the Installation and Setup Guide
The operating systems shown in "Backup Server" are running.
The required Mailbox Server hardware must satisfy all of the following conditions:

"Hardware Requirements" in "Operating Environment of Storage Cruiser's Agent" in the Installation and Setup Guide

Operating System

The Exchange management tools are running.
Note
The Exchange management tools need to be installed in the Backup Server. Its version must be the same as Exchange Server that is installed in the Mailbox Server.
The required Mailbox Server software must satisfy all of the following conditions:

"Software Requirements" in "Operating Environment of Storage Cruiser's Agent" in the Installation and Setup Guide
Exchange Server is running.
Note
Exchange Server needs to be installed in the Mailbox Server.
Note
When running the Mailbox Server and the Backup Server on the guest OS in a virtual environment, it is required to use VMware and install VMware Tools, as well.
If version 15.2 Storage Cruiser's agent has been installed in the environment where version 15.3 or later AdvancedCopy Manager's agent is installed, execute the following command from the Command Prompt after installing Storage Cruiser's agent.
<AdvancedCopy Manager program directory>\Wizard\etc\applinkINST.batRestart the Storage Cruiser's agent after executing the above command. Refer to "Starting and Stopping Agent" in "Command References" in the Storage Cruiser Operation Guide for information on how to start and stop the Storage Cruiser's agent.
