A shortcut menu to each screen of Detail View is available in the Dashboard tab as shown in the following screen. If a menu is selected from the drop-down list, the Detail View screen of the selected menu is displayed in a new browser tab or a new window.
Displaying to a Browser
The displayable location of the screen may differ depending on the browser used.
Browser | Displayable Location | Remarks |
---|---|---|
Internet Explorer | New tab and new window | Whether the screen is displayed to a new tab or a new window depends on the browser setting. |
Microsoft Edge | New tab | - |
The procedure on how to display a new screen to a new tab or window in Internet Explorer and Firefox is as follows:
For Internet Explorer
Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
The Internet Options dialog box is displayed.
On the General tab, click Tabs.
The Tabbed Browsing Settings dialog box is displayed.
Select the display method for new screens in the When a pop-up is encountered menu.
To display them in a new tab, select Always open pop-ups in a new tab.
To display them in a new window, select Always open pop-ups in a new window.
Click OK.
For Firefox
Click Options from the menu.
The Options dialog box is displayed.
Select the General panel.
Select the display method for new screens in the Tabs menu.
To display them in a new tab, check the Open links in tabs instead of new windows checkbox.
To display them in a new window, clear the Open links in tabs instead of new windows checkbox.
Note
The number of Detail View screens that can be opened from the shortcut menu is only one regardless of whether the displayable location is a new tab or a new window.
If pop-ups are blocked by the browser, change the setting to allow pop-ups.
When changing where the new pop-up screen is displayed, make sure that there is no screen opened from the shortcut menu. If a screen opened from the shortcut menu remains, the changed setting may not be reflected correctly.
If Web Console is open in two browser tabs or windows and you log out from one of the screens, performing an operation from the remaining screen may display a session timeout screen in English regardless of the set language.
Scrolling Up and Down the Drop-down List
If the number of devices registered in this product is 11 or more, the drop-down list displays buttons (up and down triangle buttons) for scrolling up and down the list. The list can be scrolled through just by hovering the mouse over those buttons.
