2.13 CT Operation Parameter Information File

This section describes the CT operation parameter information file used when changing the operating environment of the client (CT). The operating environment parameter includes printing monitoring mode/E-mail control mode, size of the log file temporarily saved in client (CT), and invalid policy upon logon, etc.

Usage

This file can be used when changing the operating environment of client (CT) on Management Server.
The settings information will be notified to the client (CT) as CT policy.

When this file is saved in "Saving location", the operating environment of the client (CT) will be changed. Therefore, after finishing changing the operating environment of client, delete this file, or move the file to location other than saving location.

The modification of the printing monitoring mode due to settings of this file can be used to modify the settings of client (CT) temporarily. After modifying the configuration value, the CT operation parameter information file is deleted or moved to other location from the saving location, and then this file will be operated again according to the configuration value in [Terminal Operation Settings] window after the next policy is notified.

Saving location

When the operating system is a Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2016:

When the operating system is a not Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2016:

[Install OS Drive]\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Fujitsu\Systemwalker Desktop Keeper

When installing the Management Server, an example file (DTKCTSetting_sample.txt) will be generated in the aforementioned saving location.

File format

The item name and description of input file are described as follows:

When specifying all clients (CTs) under Management Server, and modifying the E-mail sending management port number as 587

Execution results

When the information set in the CT operation parameter information file is notified to the client (CT) as CT policy, CT operation parameter information file/result logs will be output to the Management Server.

This is the time to receive the information from Management Server in the client (CT).
The format is: YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS.

IP address of responding client (CT).

(IPv4 address is displayed. For only IPv6, nothing is displayed)

Computer name of responding client (CT).

Information notified to client (CT). In the CT operation parameter information file, this is the configuration value of the IP address of server.

Information notified to client (CT). In the CT operation parameter information file, this is the configuration value of the size of the operation log file.

Information notified to client (CT). In the CT operation parameter information file, this is the configuration value of the size of the prohibition log file.

Information notified to client (CT). In the CT operation parameter information file, this is the configuration value of monitoring mode with prohibited E-mail attachment.

Port Number for Communication with Prohibited E-mail Attachment

Information notified to client (CT). In the CT operation parameter information file, this is the configuration value of the port number for communication with prohibited E-mail attachments.

It is the information sent to the Client (CT). In the CT operation parameter information file, this item is the value of Usage flag(proxy server).

*1: The values set for printing monitoring mode, monitoring mode with prohibited E-mail attachment, following operation parameter after logon, the web communication monitoring method and the usage flag(proxy server) in the CT operation parameter information file are different from the settings information value of CT displayed in conservative command.
