This section describes the transfer target information file used when modifying the information such as IP address of the Management Server connected to client (CT).
Note
For the CT on the Management Server, only this computer can be specified for the Management Server. Therefore, if the CT feature coexists on the Management Server, the communication port (for sending 3), communication port (for sending 4), and all settings other than the communication method will be ignored.
File name
DTKServerChange.txt
Usage
This file will be used when modifying information such as IP address of the Management Server connected to the client (CT) on the Management Server.
The settings information will be notified to client (CT) as the CT policy.
When this file is saved in "Saving location", the information such as IP address of the connected Management Server will be modified. Therefore, after modifying the information such as IP address of the connected Management Server, delete this file, or move the file to location other than saving location.
Refer to the related contents of "Change Management Server/Master Management Server To Be Connected" in User's Guide for Administrator for how to use this file.
Saving location
When the operating system is Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2016
[Install OS Drive]\ProgramData\Fujitsu\Systemwalker Desktop Keeper
When the operating system is a system other than Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2016
[Install OS Drive]\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Fujitsu\Systemwalker Desktop Keeper
When installing the Management Server, an example file (DTKServerChange_sample.txt) will be generated from the above mentioned saving location.
File format
The item name and description of the input file are described as follows:
The character encoding used is either Shift JIS or UTF-8, one of which is specified in the server configuration tool. The blank line will be ignored.
Lines that do not match the file format will be ignored and the error information will be output to an error file (DTKServerChange.err). The error file is saved in the same location as the transfer target information file.
Lines starting with the number sign (#) will be treated as comment lines.
Each item will be quoted by " (double quote).
, (comma) will be used to separate one item from another.
No. | Item Name | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Specifying Method (Required) | Specify the method for CT to modify the IP address of the connected Management Server.
|
2 | Condition Specifying of Target CT |
|
3 | IP Address of Server | The switched IP address or the server name shall be specified. When switching port numbers and the communication method without switching the Management Server, set the blank. Specify according to the following format.
Note) Local loop back address cannot be specified. |
4 | IP Address of Server (*1) | The switched IP address or server name shall be specified. Specify according to the following format.
Note) Local loop back address cannot be specified. |
5 | Switch Date | In the client (CT), specify the date to switch the IP address of the connected Management Server.
When the CT is operating, and the system date is larger than the specified date, or when it has reached the specified date during CT starting, switch immediately. |
6 | Communication Port | The standard value is 10,010. |
7 | Communication Port | The standard value is 10,010. |
8 | Communication Port | The standard value is 10,014. |
9 | Communication Port | The standard value is 48443. |
10 | Communication Port | The standard value is 48081. |
11 | Communication Method | Specify the communication method that the client (CT) and XenApp monitoring will use.
|
The smart device (Agent) cannot change synchronous URL, Relay server to be connected and the Management Server by using this file.
*1) Do not specify IPv6 address for the client (CT) of V14.3.0 or earlier. Do not enter the link local address. Operations when the link local address is specified are not guaranteed.
Use example
When specifying all clients (CTs) under the Management Server (When primary/secondary Management Server is modified as 192.168.5.10)
# Modify Management Server "Transfer Target Information File" "A","ALL","192.168.5.10",""
The settings of items after the fifth item in the aforementioned file will be omitted.
When specifying the client (CT) according to the scope of IP address (The primary/secondary Management Server will be specified/modified in turn, and the switch date will be specified)
# Execute Modification of Management Server"Transfer Target Information File" "I","192.168.0.20-240","192.168.4.10","192.168.4.11","20090611","0","0","0","0","0","0" "I","192.168.1.20-240","192.168.4.10","192.168.4.11","20090611","0","0","0","0","0","0" "I","192.168.2.20-240","192.168.4.10","192.168.4.11","20090611","0","0","0","0","0","0"
When specifying all clients (CTs) under the Management Server and using the proprietary communication method
# Modify Management Server "Transfer Target Information File" "A","ALL","","","","0","0","0","0","0","2"
When specifying clients (CTs) under the Management Server according to the scope of IP address ("192.168.0.1-254") and using the proprietary communication method with the default port number
# Modify Management Server "Transfer Target Information File" "I","192.168.0.1-254","","","","10010","10010","10014","0","0","2"
When specifying clients (CTs) under the Management Server according to the scope of IP address ("192.168.0.1-254") and using the secure communication method with the specified port number
# Modify Management Server "Transfer Target Information File" "I","192.168.0.1-254","","","","0","0","0","444","48082","3"
Execution results
When the information set in transfer target information file is notified to the client (CT) as CT policy, the result log of the transfer target information file will be output to the Management Server.
When the operating system is Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2016
[Install OS Drive]\ProgramData\Fujitsu\Systemwalker Desktop Keeper
When the operating system is system other than Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2016
[Install OS Drive]\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Fujitsu\Systemwalker Desktop Keeper
