2.12 Transfer Target Information File

This section describes the transfer target information file used when modifying the information such as IP address of the Management Server connected to client (CT).

Note

For the CT on the Management Server, only this computer can be specified for the Management Server. Therefore, if the CT feature coexists on the Management Server, the communication port (for sending 3), communication port (for sending 4), and all settings other than the communication method will be ignored.

Usage

This file will be used when modifying information such as IP address of the Management Server connected to the client (CT) on the Management Server.
The settings information will be notified to client (CT) as the CT policy.

When this file is saved in "Saving location", the information such as IP address of the connected Management Server will be modified. Therefore, after modifying the information such as IP address of the connected Management Server, delete this file, or move the file to location other than saving location.

Saving location

When the operating system is Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2016

When installing the Management Server, an example file (DTKServerChange_sample.txt) will be generated from the above mentioned saving location.

File format

The item name and description of the input file are described as follows:

The character encoding used is either Shift JIS or UTF-8, one of which is specified in the server configuration tool. The blank line will be ignored.
Lines that do not match the file format will be ignored and the error information will be output to an error file (DTKServerChange.err). The error file is saved in the same location as the transfer target information file.
Lines starting with the number sign (#) will be treated as comment lines.
Each item will be quoted by " (double quote).

3	IP Address of Server (CT Management Server) (Required) (*1)	The switched IP address or the server name shall be specified. When switching port numbers and the communication method without switching the Management Server, set the blank. Specify according to the following format. For IPv4 address: aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd For IPv6 address: aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff:gg:hh For IPv6 address, an abbreviation compatible with RFC 5952 can also be used. For server name: 15 halfwidth characters or less Note) Local loop back address cannot be specified.
4	IP Address of Server (Substitute Management Server) (*1)	The switched IP address or server name shall be specified. Specify according to the following format. When the default input format (Settings are blank) is allowed, the system will consider that the value of "IP Address of Server (CT Management Server)" has been set. 5	Switch Date	In the client (CT), specify the date to switch the IP address of the connected Management Server. 20000101~20371231: the switch date shall be specified in the format of yyyymmdd. Default input or 0: switch when restarting CT When the CT is operating, and the system date is larger than the specified date, or when it has reached the specified date during CT starting, switch immediately.
6	Communication Port (For Receiving)	The standard value is 10,010. The value within a range from 5,001 to 60,000 can be specified. When the default input format is allowed or the value is set as 0, adopt the value that has been set in the client (CT).
7	Communication Port (For Sending)	The standard value is 10,010. The value within a range from 5,001 to 60,000 can be specified. When the default input format is allowed or the value is set as 0, adopt the value that has been set in the client (CT).
8	Communication Port (For Sending 2)	The standard value is 10,014. The value within a range from 5,001 to 60,000 can be specified. When the default input format is allowed or the value is set as 0, adopt the value that has been set in the client (CT).
9	Communication Port (For Sending 3)	The standard value is 48443. The valid range is from 0 to 65535. When this item is omitted or its value is set to 0, the value set in the client (CT) will be used.
10	Communication Port (For Sending 4)	The standard value is 48081. The valid range is from 5001 to 60000. When this item is omitted or its value is set to 0, the value set in the client (CT) will be used.
11	Communication Method	Specify the communication method that the client (CT) and XenApp monitoring will use. 0 or empty string: Uses the value set in the client (CT). 2: Proprietary communication method (V15.1.1 or earlier communication method). 3: Secure communication method.

The smart device (Agent) cannot change synchronous URL, Relay server to be connected and the Management Server by using this file.

*1) Do not specify IPv6 address for the client (CT) of V14.3.0 or earlier. Do not enter the link local address. Operations when the link local address is specified are not guaranteed.

When specifying all clients (CTs) under the Management Server (When primary/secondary Management Server is modified as 192.168.5.10)

1	Response Time	This is the time when the client (CT) receives the switch information from the previous Management Server. Its format is YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS.
2	IP Address of CT	IP address of client (CT) of response. (IPv4 address is displayed. For only IPv6, nothing is displayed)
3	Computer Name of CT	Computer name of client (CT) of response.
4	IP Address of Server (CT Management Server)	IP address of Management Server that sends switch information.
5	IP Address of Server (Substitute Management Server)	IP address of substitute Management Server responded by client (CT).
6	Switch Date	This is the information sent for the client (CT). It is the configuration value of switch date for transfer target information file.
7	Communication Port (for sending)	This is the information sent for the client (CT). It is the configuration value of communication port (for receiving) for transfer target information file.
8	Communication Port (for sending)	This is the information sent for the client (CT). It is the configuration value of communication port (for sending) for transfer target information file.
9	Communication Port (for sending 2)	This is the information sent for the client (CT). It is the configuration value of communication port (for sending 2) for transfer target information file.
10	Communication Port (for sending 3)	This is the information sent for the client (CT). It is the configuration value of communication port (for sending 3) in the transfer target information file.
11	Communication Port (for sending 4)	This is the information sent for the client (CT). It is the configuration value of communication port (for sending 4) in the transfer target information file.
12	Communication Method	This is the information sent for the client (CT). It is the configuration value of communication method in the transfer target information file.
