The tool dtplook.exe is used for collecting the CS log information.

The tool dtplook.exe is stored as follows:

Start dtplook.exe only on the CS.
How to use dtplook.exe
Create a directory for saving documents.
For example, c:\log
In the command prompt, execute dtplook.exe, specifying the directory in which to store the collected information.
For example, "C:\Program Files\DesktopPatrol\bnserv\bin\dtplook.exe" c:\log
Collect files created in the directory for saving documents.
dtplook.exe [/d collection option] Directory for saving collected information |
Specify the collection option as required.
all: Collect detailed information. (Folder)
part: Collect partial detailed information.
no: Do not collect the detailed information.
Specify the absolute path for saving the collected log information with 200 halfwidth characters.
Create a file in the format of dtplook.dat2.

Cautions when using dtplook.exe
Specify a folder in the local disk.
Start dtplook.exe as the user with the administrator's right.
Log in to the Windows as either of the following users:
The user who build or expand the usage environment through the environment maintenance guide.
The user that is added by dtpctlusr.exe.
Execute SWDTP_ctrl.exe (batch starting/stopping services) to stop services and tasks before collecting information. Although it is possible to collect information without stopping services and tasks, it may not be possible to collect some of the information while services and tasks are running.
