Check whether the host computer that is being powered on is the "Wakeup on LAN" compatible hardware. And it is so, make sure that "Wakeup on LAN" is enabled.
Make sure that the network is correctly installed on the computer that is designated with the host name of power-on target. Also, verify the network status and the registration information of DNS.
If you power on the client on other subnet, the network devices (e.g., routers) must be configured so that broadcast packets from server can reach the network in which the terminal being powered on locates. To learn more about the settings, see the manual of your network device.
You can make sure whether the broadcast packets can arrive or not by submitting the ping command from the command prompt window on the Operation Manager server on which you execute the command. If you receive no reply, the broadcast packet is not received by the target system.
If the IP address of submit destination is "10.90.100.100" and the subnet mask is "255.255.255.0", the submit command is "ping 10.90.100.255".

[Target Commands]
