C.2 文字エンコーディングの決定

　CPAはテキストファイルとして作成します。CPAの最初の行はXML宣言文で、文書がXMLであることを示します。XML宣言文のencodingにはテキストファイルの文字エンコーディングを記述します（注1）。指定できる文字エンコーディングの種類は、使用するXMLパーサーに依存します。一般に、XMLの文字エンコーディングはUTF-8が推奨されていますので、ここではUTF-8を選択します。

本バージョンのebMSではCPA中の日本語記述はサポートしていません。
