3.1 Asset Management Function

In Systemwalker Desktop Patrol, software and hardware information of PC is called inventory information. The Asset Management Function is the function of collecting inventory information from each PC, and registering the information to the database to be managed by "Systemwalker Desktop Patrol CS".

The management function of Systemwalker Desktop Patrol has many variations to meet diversified needs of the enterprise. An explanation as to information that can be collected by using this function is given together with a display screen image of each piece of information.

Using Windows Server(R) 2003 x64 Edition, the following Inventory information can be collected:

• Software information
• Software operation status
• Application Log File Collection (Note)
• Operating Log File Collection
