2.3.3 Required Resources for Installation

This section describes the resources that are required for installing Storage Cruiser's agent.

Note

If Storage Cruiser's agent is used as the Storage Cluster Controller, do not install Storage Cruiser's agent in the storage device volume which configures Storage Cluster. If it is installed, problems such as the Automatic Failover function of the storage not working and Storage Cluster not operating correctly may occur.
For details about the storage devices that can configure Storage Cluster, refer to "Table 2.6 Storage Devices and Compatible Firmware Version".

2.3.3.1 Required Disk Space for Installation

For installation of Storage Cruiser's agent on a server, the required free disk space on that server is as follows.

For Windows Environments
