The operating system of the server on which to install the Storage Cruiser's agent must be one of operating systems described in this section.
Point
For stable OS operation, applying the latest patch to the OS in advance is recommended to operate this product.
When using Storage Cluster Controller, install the Storage Cruiser's agent in one of the following operating systems. In addition, Storage Cluster Controller can be operated on a guest OS in a server virtualization environment.

*2: For Solaris 11.3 or earlier, perform the following procedure.
Change the environment/TZ of the SMF service instance svc:/system/environment:init of the operating system to the appropriate timezone name instead of the local time and then refresh the service. After that, reboot the operating system.
Specify the appropriate timezone name to timeZoneName. For example, specify "US/Pacific" to timeZoneName to use this product in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
Note that this procedure must be performed before installing this product even if other methods such as the "nlsadm" command is used to set the timezone when the OS is installed.
