The procedure to change the current configuration of the Extreme Cache/Extreme Cache Pool is as follows:

Specify whether to use Extreme Cache/Extreme Cache Pool of each volume.
After the volume is created, the Extreme Cache configuration (Enabled or Disabled) can be changed. The default setting is "Enabled" when the volume is created. The change of Extreme Cache configuration is required only when Extreme Cache is used for a specific volume. In addition, this configuration is also common in Extreme Cache Pools.
On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.
On the Category pane, click Volume.
The volume list is displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, check the target volume checkbox. Two or more volumes can be selected.
Perform the following procedures according to the operation purpose.
On the Action pane, click Disable under Extreme Cache(Read).
The information confirmation screen is displayed.
Confirm the information, and then click Disable.
On the Action pane, click Enable under Extreme Cache(Read).
The information confirmation screen is displayed.
Confirm the information, and then click Enable.
Note
The Extreme Cache cannot be set to SDV or SDPV.
When using Extreme Cache Pool, prior initialization of Extreme Cache Pool by using ETERNUS Web GUI of the target ETERNUS Disk storage system is required.
