9.7.6 Set Volume Allocation

The procedure to set the Allocation of the volume is as follows:

1. On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
   The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

3. On the Category pane, click Volume.
   The volume list is displayed on the Main pane.

4. On the Main pane, check the target volume checkbox.

5. Perform the following procedures according to the operation purpose.

   For Setting Allocation to Thin

   1. On the Action pane, click Set to Thin under Allocation.
      The information confirmation screen is displayed.

   2. Confirm the information, and then click Set.

   For Setting Allocation to Thick

   1. On the Action pane, click Set to Thick under Allocation.
      The information confirmation screen is displayed.

   2. Confirm the information, and then click Set.
