The information displayed on the screen is updated automatically at intervals (Default is 30 seconds) set to Screen Refresh Interval. The input item in the screen is held before and after the update.
According to the setting of Target of the screen refresh preference, the area updated automatically is different as shown in the following tables.

The screen can be updated manually by clicking in the menu area.
Information
The status of the automatic refresh processing can be confirmed with the icon displayed in the menu area. Refer to "2.5.1 Menu Area" for details.
Refer to "15.2.3 Change Value for Screen Refresh Preference" for information on how to change Target and Screen Refresh Interval.

The automatic refresh never operates on the screen before log in and the screen displayed by another window.

The balancing level of the Tier pool balancing is not refreshed automatically. To show the latest balancing level, perform the Status Update operation of Automated Storage Tiering.
Clicking resets the following setting values in the Main pane to the default value. Refer to "2.5.3 Main Pane" for respective setting.

In addition, when information screen has tabs, clicking displays the leftmost tab information on the Main pane regardless of the current tab.
Clicking does not reset values in the Filter Setting on the Job Status pane.
Clicking displays the existing information held by ETERNUS SF system. It does not acquire updated information from the devices. Clicking Reload Conf. or Refresh in an Action pane obtains updated information from the device. To update the information of Automated Storage Tiering to the latest status, you need to perform the procedure that is described in "9.14.25 Update Automated Storage Tiering Information".
However, automatically collected device information excludes system information, status (*1), device resource usage capacity / rate and performance management configuration information (*2) for the following devices. Clicking displays the automatically collected information.

*1: For devices that support automatic updates of the device component status, this product acquires the device configuration status automatically from the device. For this reason, you do not need to perform the Reload Conf. operation for the device. For devices that support automatic updates of the device component status, refer to "Monitoring Device Component Status" in the Storage Cruiser Operation Guide.
*2: The performance management configuration information is automatically updated when "All" is selected for the range of monitored volumes at the start of performance management. Refer to "Instruction for Performance Management" in the Storage Cruiser Operation Guide for details.
