The following operations can be performed for the Non-disruptive Storage Migration functions that are added to the ETERNUS DX S4/S3 series, ETERNUS AF All-Flash Arrays, and the ETERNUS DX200F.
Displaying information of the volumes that are used for the Non-disruptive Storage Migration
Displaying performance information of the volumes that are used for the Non-disruptive Migration
Monitoring the threshold of the volumes that are used for the Non-disruptive Migration
Setting and displaying access paths
Displaying performance information of the FC-Initiator port
Note
In this product, the External Drive or the External RAID Group that is used for the Non-disruptive Storage Migration cannot be displayed.
Storage Cruiser can manage the ETERNUS DX S4 series and the ETERNUS AF S2 series that have the following component:
FC-CA board that responds to a 32 Gbps port transfer speed
Storage Cruiser can manage the ETERNUS DX60 S4 that has the following component:
SAS-CA board that responds to a 12 Gbps port transfer speed
Point
To perform the operations or use the functions described in this section, the firmware version of the target storage device must be V10L80 or later.
For the ETERNUS DX S4/S3 series, the ETERNUS AF All-Flash Arrays, and the ETERNUS DX200F, affinity/LUN groups can be allocated with up to 4,096 volumes.
Due to this, a maximum of 4,096 LUNs that belong to the affinity/LUN groups are displayed on the Affinity/LUN Group Details screen of Web Console. In addition, a maximum of eight concatenated affinity group numbers that the LUNs belong to are also displayed.
Point
To use this function, the firmware version of the target storage device must be V10L80 or later.
The host affinity which Affinity/LUN groups that have 513 or more volumes is associated can be set in a Storage Cluster configuration of a BS2000 environment.
The affinity groups for the BS2000 can be modified.
In addition to Windows supported by version 16.5 or earlier, Storage Cluster Controller can be configured in servers running the following OSs:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (for Intel64)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (for Intel64)
Oracle Solaris 11
Oracle Solaris 10
Refer to "Operating Environment of Storage Cruiser's Agent" in the Installation and Setup Guide for information on a list of OSs where Storage Cluster Controller can operate.
