4.4 Node environment

Target users

Users who belong to the Web-Based Admin View administrator group

IP address/Host name for identifying own host

Set up when modifying mip (the IP address or the host name for identifying own host) on the management server or the monitoring node for the environment settings. This IP address is used for communication among management servers and monitoring nodes.

The IP address, which is assigned to the displayed node name as a result of executing "uname -n"

IP address/Host name of the WWW server

If the monitoring node for environment settings is a management server, httpip (the IP address or the host name that is set for the clients) is displayed.

The displayed IP address/host name cannot be modified on the GUI screen. For modification, refer to "7.5 Multi-network between server and client by classified use".

The IP address, which is assigned to the displayed node name as a result of executing "uname -n"

Object of secondary management server automatic migration

Specify whether the monitoring node is automatically selected as the secondary management server when "7.4 Secondary management server automatic migration" is set.

Note

  • From [Node], select a management server or node, and then set up respectively.

  • When setting the operation environment, exit all other applications of Web-Based Admin View first.

  • When the node environment settings items are modified, Web-Based Admin View of the monitoring node is restarted to enable the settings.

  • The node environment is available only when the environment settings is activated in the primary management server.
