2.6.6 Customized Settings on the Switchover Source Site

For Active-Standby operation, the following customizations on the switchover source site, which are performed according to "Chapter 9 Post-Installation Procedures" in the "Setup Guide CE", need to be reflected on the switchover destination site before switchover. Perform configuration when configuring the environment, or reflect the settings during switchover.

After a Disaster Recovery environment has been configured, if the settings of the switchover source site are changed according to "Chapter 8 Changing Settings" in the "Operation Guide CE", reflect the changes made to the following items on the switchover destination site.

The following configuration files are edited based on the above settings.

[Windows Manager]

[Linux Manager]

These configuration files are collected by performing "a. Export the Required Information" in "1. Export the Required Information from the Switchover Source Site" in "4.1 Normal Operation". Referring to the configuration file for the switchover source site, which is stored in the switchover information storage folder, during switchover, enables you to make the content of the configuration file for the switchover destination site the same as the one for the switchover source site.

Example

Example of Storage Locations of Collected Configuration Files

[Windows Manager]

E:\Export\ManagerExport\CONFIG_FILEDate exported

[Linux Manager]

/DRImport/ManagerExport/CONFIG_FILEDate exported

For details on the switchover information storage folder, refer to "3.2 Creating Switchover Information Storage Folders".

For the Active-Active operation, configurations of the following should be different between sites.

When using "prefix with serial number" style of "3" for configuration, specify different character strings for the prefixes of each site.

Configure using different prefixes on each site.

For configurations other than the above, use identical configurations between sites as with the Active-Standby operation.
