11.1.4 Set History Management

This section describes how to set history management.

The update history of device information exceeding the retention period will be automatically deleted in accordance with this setting.

The procedure for setting security auditing is as follows:

Perform this setting by the system administrator. The section department need not set.

  1. On CS, click Start > All Programs > Systemwalker Desktop Patrol > Environment Setup > Management Ledger Settings, or Apps > Systemwalker Desktop Patrol > Management Ledger Settings.

    The Management Ledger Settings window will be displayed

  2. Select the Set History Management tab.

    The following window will be displayed

  3. Set the retention period for history.

    Set the following information and click the OK or Apply button.

    The information is set.

    Retention Period

    Select the retention period for history management information from the following options.

    • 6 months

    • 1 year

    • 2 years

    • 3 years

    • 4 years

    • 5 years

    The initial value is 1 year.
