C.7.3 Installation of the Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Operation Management Client

The installation procedure for the Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator operation management client is given below.

1. Install the Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator operation management client.

   For details, refer to the "Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Installation Guide".

2. Restore the files that have been backed up.

   When the manager is upgraded, the files are automatically backed up.
   The backup destination is as follows:

   Installation_location_of_Resource_Orchestrator\SQC\sqc_cl\www\html\ConsoleEnvironments
   Installation_location_of_Resource_Orchestrator\SQC\sqc_cl\www\html\TenantConsoleEnvironments
   Installation_location_of_Resource_Orchestrator\SQC\sqc_cl\Policy_ROOT

   Copy the files and subfolders at the backup destination into the following restoration destinations:

   Installation_location_of_the_Systemwalker_Service_Quality_Coordinator_operation_management_client\www\html\ConsoleEnvironments
   Installation_location_of_the_Systemwalker_Service_Quality_Coordinator_operation_management_client\www\html\TenantConsoleEnvironments
   Installation_location_of_the_Systemwalker_Service_Quality_Coordinator_operation_management_client\Policy_ROOT

3. Modify the following file:

   Installation_location_of_the_Systemwalker_Service_Quality_Coordinator_operation_management_client\etc\rorInfo.xml

   Open the above file in a text editor, then modify the following parts and save the file.

   • Before modifying

     3170

   • After modifying

     3501/op_portal

4. Configure the communication environment.

   For details, refer to the "Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Installation Guide".

5. Perform the following configuration:

   • Setup of the communication environment of the Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator operation management client

   • Configuration of coordination with ServerView Resource Orchestrator

   • Coordination of the calling of the Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator console from the ServerView Resource Orchestrator console

   Note

   Perform the "separately from" type of configuration.

   For details on configuration, refer to "Tasks to perform on the Operation Management Client of the Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator" in "Installing separately from ServerView Resource Orchestrator" in "Installation Procedure" in "Linking to ServerView Resource Orchestrator" in "Linking to Other Products" in the "Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator User's Guide".

6. When dividing the report storage locations, perform the procedure to divide the report storage locations again.

   For details, refer to the "Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Installation Guide".
