C.7.2 Installation of Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Manager

The installation procedure for Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Manager is given below.

  1. Install Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Manager.

    For details, refer to the "Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Installation Guide".

  2. Restore the license files that have been backed up.

    Restore the license files that have been backed up in advance into the following location:

    Storage_location_of_variable_files_for_Systemwalker_Service_Quality_Coordinator_Manager\control
  3. Restore the definition files that have been backed up.

    When the manager is upgraded, the definition files are automatically backed up.
    The backup destination is as follows:

    Installation_location_of_Resource_Orchestrator\CE-upgradedata\SQCM\data\sqc_backup

    Each definition file is backed up as:

    Definition_file_nameVnnn.extension or Definition_file_nameVnnn (*1)

    *1: Vnnn indicates the version and level prior to the upgrade.

    Restore the definition files that have been backed up using the following procedure:

    1. Delete "Vnnn" from each of the following file names and then copy the resulting files to the restoration destination.

      The restoration destination is as follows:

      Storage_location_of_variable_files_for_Systemwalker_Service_Quality_Coordinator_Manager\control
      • agentlistVnnn.cfg

      • alertconfigVnnn.txt

      • cntrcconfVnnn.ini

      • collectOIDVnnn.txt

      • ConfigVnnn

      • ecoAgentInfoVnnn.txt

      • pdbmanageVnnn.txt

      • PolicyVnnn.ini

      • remoteAccountVnnn.txt

      • remoteAgentVnnn.txt

      • saprfcVnnn.ini

      • sqcGetSAPalertmonVnnn.ini

      • sqcPDBconfVnnn.ini

      • sqcSAPmonitornVnnn.conf

      • thttpdVnnn.conf

      • tsconfigVnnn.txt

    2. If you modified the following files before upgrading, modify the files at the restoration destination referring to the backed up files.

      *1: Perform modification referring to the backed up DSAconfig.txt.

    Note

    Do not restore any files other than those listed above.

  4. Restore the storage destination of the performance database (PDB).

    When the manager is upgraded, the performance database (PDB) is automatically backed up.
    The backup destination is as follows:

    Installation_location_of_Resource_Orchestrator\CE-upgradedata\SQCM\data\sqc_backup\PDB

    The default storage location after the upgrade is as follows:

    Storage_location_of_variable_files_for_Systemwalker_Service_Quality_Coordinator_Manager\data

    Modification is necessary even when restoring to the above default storage location after performing an upgrade because the location of the performance data base (PDB) is changed prior to upgrade.
    For details on the procedure, refer to "Performance Database (PDB)/Archive File" in "Changing the Installation Environment" in the "Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Installation Guide".

    The archive file is not backed up and its restoration is not necessary.

  5. In order to perform two-tier operation of Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Manager, perform two-tier operation setup.

    For details, refer to the "Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Installation Guide".

  6. Perform two-tier operation setup.

    For details, refer to the "Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Installation Guide".

  7. Start and confirm the services and daemons of Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Manager.

    For details, refer to the "Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Installation Guide".
