Display method
Log in to the management console.
Use either of the following methods to display the Views window:
Select Reports from the menu in the management console, then click the Views tab.
Click the Views link in the Home window.
Operation method
In the upper section, select a view to display and policies to apply.
Display Item | Description |
---|---|
View Name | Select a view to display.

Policy to apply | Select a policy to apply to the view. |
In the lower section, the view is displayed.
Values of the attributes specified for the display method of the view are displayed.
When a policy for attribute values is applied, the values of the attributes in violation of the policy are displayed in yellow.
When a policy for number of CI, the values of the CI attributes in violation of the policy are displayed in yellow.
From the Views window, the following operations are possible:

Create | Displays the View Wizard for creating views. |
Edit | Displays the View Wizard for editing content of views. |
Delete | Deletes views. Views for which policies exist cannot be deleted. |

Update timing of the information displayed in a view
The information stored in the CMDB as a result of discovery is not displayed in a view immediately after the information is stored. Information displayed in a view is updated at the following timings:
When creating or editing a view, the information of that view is updated.
Information displayed in all views is updated on a five-minute interval.
Upper limit of the number of CIs displayed in a view
Up to 500 CIs can be displayed in one view. Any additional CIs are not displayed. In this case, perform the following actions:
Use a command to output the information to a CSV file.
Configure the details of the basic CI and divide the view. An example of dividing a view is shown below. When a view is divided, it is necessary to define policies individually.
When the view has a hierarchy level where CIs for tenants are displayed
Create a basic CI in which CIs for the individual tenants are displayed and then define a view for each tenant.
When the view has a hierarchy level where CIs for servers are displayed
Create a basic CI in which the servers for each OS type are displayed and then define a view for each OS type.
