Note

Update timing of the information displayed in a view

The information stored in the CMDB as a result of discovery is not displayed in a view immediately after the information is stored. Information displayed in a view is updated at the following timings:

  • When creating or editing a view, the information of that view is updated.

  • Information displayed in all views is updated on a five-minute interval.

Upper limit of the number of CIs displayed in a view

Up to 500 CIs can be displayed in one view. Any additional CIs are not displayed. In this case, perform the following actions:

  • Use a command to output the information to a CSV file.

  • Configure the details of the basic CI and divide the view. An example of dividing a view is shown below. When a view is divided, it is necessary to define policies individually.

    • When the view has a hierarchy level where CIs for tenants are displayed

Create a basic CI in which CIs for the individual tenants are displayed and then define a view for each tenant.

    • When the view has a hierarchy level where CIs for servers are displayed

Create a basic CI in which the servers for each OS type are displayed and then define a view for each OS type.
