Degrading of blade chassis refers to failover or failback performed in the following configurations.
The numbers of managed blade chassis differs between the switchover source site and the switchover destination site
The numbers of LAN switch blades in chassis differs between the switchover source site and the switchover destination site

Point
The network resources using ports of LAN switch blades to be degraded as external connection ports are created as an internal network of the switchover destination site. Refer to "Figure 2.12 Failover by a Configuration that Reduces the Number of Blade Chassis and LAN Switch Blades in the Switchover Destination Site".
Internal network resources are the network resources without external connection ports set. Connect the internal network resources to the connection blades of Slot 1 and Slot 2.
After switchover, configure the external connection ports of network resources as necessary.
For details, refer to "4.3 Operation after Switchover" and "4.5 Operation after Failback".
During failback, network resources are recovered in the switchover destination site according to the settings of network resources in the switchover source site. Refer to "Figure 2.13 Failback by a Configuration that Reduces the Number of Blade Chassis and LAN Switch Blades in the Switchover Destination Site".
After failback, restore the settings of the external connection ports of network resources as necessary. For details, refer to "4.3 Operation after Switchover" and "4.5 Operation after Failback".
