Windows(R) allows users to change the background of the desktop to a bitmap picture called Wallpaper. Sometimes these bitmaps are complex and may affect Screen Transfer and Remote Control performance because the image may not compress very well.
Select the Disable check box to disable the Windows(R) wallpaper on both your screen and the Client's while the support session is in progress. Once you close the support session and disconnect from the Client, the wallpaper is restored to its original state. This setting takes effect the next time you start the Live Help Expert application.
However, web content that some Windows(R) systems can display on the desktop cannot be disabled. The Web content is displayed on both your screen and the Client's while the support session is in progress, even if the Disable check box is selected.
Web content displayed on the desktop may affect Screen transfer and Remote Control performance by causing frequent screen updates. It is strongly recommended not to display web content when you use the Live Help applications.
