7.7.2 Comparing from the Compare Result Sub-window

The following is a quick summary of the steps to compare a file, folder or drive from the Compare Result sub-window.

1. In the remote folder tree, use the mouse or the arrow keys to navigate to the location where the file, folder or drive you want to compare can be found and select it. The selected file, folder or drive is highlighted.

2. In the local folder tree, use the mouse or the arrow keys to navigate to the location where the file, folder or drive you want to compare can be found and select it. The selected file, folder or drive is highlighted.

3. Select the Compare menu item from the FILE menu or click the Compare button . The Compare operation starts.

4. The Compare progress dialog box will show the progress of the compare operation.

   Note

   If you would like to automatically include all subfolders of the selected folder in the file transfer or in a compare operation, choose Option, Include subfolders.

5. The Compare Result sub-window shows the result of the operation.
