The File List presents a list of files and folders contained within the currently selected folder in the folder tree. It also shows the list of available drives when "My Computer" item is selected in the Folder tree field.
The columns contained in this field behave like Windows(R) Explorer with regard to column resizing, sorting and display field format. The format of the date column follows the setting specified in the Windows(R) Control Panel.
If the selected item is a folder or a drive, the following columns are included.
Name:
This column displays the name of the file or folder and its extension. To the left of the name, the appropriate icon (as defined on the Support Specialist's computer) is displayed for the file or folder.
Size:
This column displays the size of each file.
Type:
This column displays the type of each entry in the list. The value for type is based on known file types on the Support Specialist's system, regardless of whether you are viewing the Specialist's file system or the Client's. For example, if the Specialist's computer system has .TXT files defined as "Notepad Files" and the Client's system has them defined as "Text Documents," Client File Exchange running on the Support Specialist's computer will show "Notepad Files" as the type of all .TXT files on both the Specialist's file system and the Client's.
Modified:
This column displays the date and time when the file or folder was last modified. The date and time for all sub-windows are displayed in the format defined in Control Panel on the Support Specialist's computer.
Attributes:
This column displays the attribute of each file or folder. Potential values include R (for Read-only), H (for Hidden), A (for Archive), S (for System) and C (for Compressed).
If "My Computer" is currently selected in the folder tree, the following columns are included in the file list.
Name:
This column displays the list of file, folder or drive names.
Type:
This column displays the type of each drive.
Total Size:
This column displays the total size of each drive.
Free Space:
This column displays the free space of each drive.
