3.2 Starting a Modem Support Session

To start a modem session, either the Support Specialist or Client can place the data call.

There are two ways to start a support session using a modem. The method you and the Client choose depends on connectivity requirements or the limitations of the environment.

Live Help offers modem connection options that allow the Support Specialist to dial the Client or the Client to dial the Support Specialist.

Note

You cannot use Windows group based Authentication over modem connections.
