This section describes the job recovery operations and the actions following the operations.
Recovery operations
The following recovery operations can be executed for jobs.
The specified job will be started and be in the executing status. When the job is completed normally or pseudo-normally, the succeeding job will be executed.
This operation is available only for the jobs with job net or linked job net icons. The specified job will be restarted and be in the executing status. When the job is completed normally or pseudo-normally, the succeeding job will be executed.
This operation is available only for jobs other than the jobs with job net or linked job net icons. The status of the specified job will not be changed and the succeeding job will be started and be in the executing status. When the succeeding job is completed normally or pseudo-normally, the next succeeding job will be executed.
If the succeeding jobs include any recovery job, the recovery job will not be carried out. If no succeeding job exists (including recovery job) or if only recovery jobs exist, this operation is not available.
Furthermore, if any of the succeeding jobs has Execution condition specified in the Standard information sheet of the Job Net Properties window, this operation is not available.
This operation is available only for jobs other than the jobs with job net or linked job net icons. The specified job will be started and be in the executing status. Even when the job is completed normally or pseudo-normally, the succeeding job will not be executed. Or, even when the job is terminated abnormally, the recovery job will not be executed.
This is an operation to start the jobs which remain in the abended or cancelled status as a result of carrying out "Start from Next Job." Therefore, this operation is not available for the jobs with no succeeding job or the jobs for which the succeeding jobs are in the waiting status (including the jobs which are in the paused or disabled status and are previously in the waiting status) including the recovery jobs.
Status of job nets on higher-level layers after recovery operation
When jobs in a job net are in the executing status after recovery operation, the job net including these jobs and the job nets of higher-level layers will be in the executing status.
If the job net is in the warning status, however, the status of the job nets and the job nets of higher-level layers will not change even after recovery operations.
Completion status and completion code after recovery operation
When the job net which was brought to the executing status by the recovery operation and its higher-level layer job nets have been completed, the status and the completion code for these job nets will be as follows.
Determined by the statuses and the completion codes of all the jobs included in the job net.
Determined by the statuses and the completion codes of all the jobs included in the job net. However, the specified job status is excluded.
It is the same for the status and the completion code when the recovery operations have been executed to the jobs in a job net which has already been in the warning status.
Information
When the Specified Job Only operation is executed, only the specified job will work. The status and the completion code when this job net is completed will be determined by the statuses and the completion codes of the jobs other than the specified job.
