This section explains the statuses for a job net that becomes a master linked job net when a linked job net referring to it is registered, the behavior of the master linked job net after it is registered as such, and the statuses of linked job nets.
Status and behavior of master linked job nets
When registering a linked job net, the status of the job net that is specified as the reference destination of the linked job net must be one of the following: "completed", "abended", "canceled", "waiting", "paused", "disabled", "confirmed" or "pseudo normal". The status of the job net that becomes a master linked job net as a result of registering a linked job net will change from its previous status to "waiting", unless the previous status was "paused" or "disabled". If the previous status was "paused" or "disabled", the status of the job net will continue to be "paused" or "disabled" even after it becomes a master linked job net. Similarly, the status of any job nets at lower levels below the master linked job net will also become "waiting", unless their previous status was "paused" or "disabled".
Similarly, the status of jobs within a master linked job net or jobs within any job nets at lower levels below the master linked job net will also become "waiting", unless their previous status was "paused" or "disabled".
A job net whose status is "executing", "warning" or "end delayed" cannot be specified as a master linked job net from linked job nets until it finishes executing.
Status of linked job nets
Immediately after a job net is registered as a linked job net, its status is "waiting". The status of any job nets at lower levels inherit the status of the master linked job net. The same applies to jobs.
