If you select Action Execution [Audio Notification] in the installation options during installation, the action execution server will start at log in.
The action execution server does not need to be started on Windows(R) computers that are not specified as an action execution host for short mail, pop-ups, audio notification, etc.
As the action execution server startup status is enabled after installation is complete, inhibit the startup of the action execution server on servers that are not specified as action execution hosts, as required. By inhibiting the startup of the action execution server, you can inhibit the display of the following error message at login:
The action execution server cannot be started. |
Method for inhibiting action execution server startups
Inhibit the startup of the action execution server on Windows(R) computers that are not specified as an action execution host for short mail, pop-ups, and audio notification using the following procedure.
Action execution server startup inhibition procedure (Disabling the startup)
Start the msconfig command
In Windows Run, enter "msconfig" and click OK.
Disable the action execution service startup
Select the Startup tab of the System Configuration Utility that you started.
Clear the Startup Item checkbox for the following item, and click OK.

Restart the system
A pop-up appears asking if you want to restart. To enable the settings, restart the system.
