6.2 Monitoring Scheduled Jobs

Scheduled jobs (jobs that have been registered in the Jobscheduler) can be monitored using either Previous process result sheet of the Monitor Job Net window, or the Job List window.

The configuration of a job net that contains child job nets or linked job nets, for which startup days have been specified, is displayed in the Process flow sheet of the Monitor Job Net window.

The following describes the contents displayed in each window.

Previous process result sheet of the Monitor Job Net window

The Job Flow area in the Previous process result sheet of the Monitor Job Net window indicates the job status using color coding. For the job nets under execution, the current status of the jobs are displayed. For the job nets which are waiting for execution or completed, the completion results of the previous execution are displayed. In the case of restarting, whether job nets are included in the target of startup can be identified. However, when a job net is started for the first time, the configuration of the started jobs is displayed.

If restart point, recovery or execution conditions are specified for the job using the Control information sheet of the Add/Change-Job window, arrows or diamond-shaped symbols are displayed respectively. For child job nets or linked job nets that have the Valid only on startup days setting and are not started up, status frames are displayed as pin-only icons framed by dotted circles.

If animation is enabled, jobs and job nets whose status is "Executing", "Warning" or "Abended" will be shown animated.

Detailed information on the jobs displayed in this window can be browsed using the Monitor-Job window. The Start time, End time, End code and Description as well as the contents of the standard output and the standard error output at the previous execution are displayed in the Previous log sheet of the Monitor-Job window.

For details on the status of jobs, see "14.1.1 Job Status".
