14.1.1 Job Status

The following describes the status of jobs registered in the Jobscheduler.

The job status is any of the following. The display color is the color in which the status is displayed in the Monitor Job Net window.

Completed

Displayed in blue.

The job is considered to be completed when either of the following is satisfied.

Pseudo-normal

Displayed in light blue.

The pseudo-normal status of the job is indicated when Validate pseudo-normal is checked in the Define Jobscheduler Startup Parameters window.

The completion code is between one and the normal completion code upper limit.

Abended

Displayed in red. When icon animation is enabled, an "x" symbol will flash on an off within the red circle.

The job is considered to be abended when the completion code has exceeded the normal completion code upper limit.

Cancelled

Displayed in yellow.

The job is considered to be cancelled when the user has executed the cancel operation.

Warning

Displayed in brown. When icon animation is enabled, an animation will be displayed in the lower part of the brown circle.

If the job is a child job net or linked job net, the status indicates that the child job net or linked job net is in warning status. For details on the warning status for job nets, see "14.1.3 Job Net Status".

Executing

Displayed in green. When icon animation is enabled, an animation will be displayed in the lower part of the green circle.

The job is considered to be executing when the job is in execution.

Waiting

Displayed in pink.

The job is considered to be waiting when it is scheduled for execution today and waiting to be executed.

Start delayed

Displayed in purple.

The job is considered to be delayed when the job is connected to the queue and has not been executed.

For example, this status occurs when multiple jobs exceeding the execution multiplexing are waiting to be executed.

Paused

Displayed in orange.

The job is considered to be paused when the user has executed the pause operation. Once the job is paused, it will not be started until the continue operation is executed. The succeeding jobs will not be executed either.

Disabled

Displayed in gray.

The job is considered to be disabled when the user has executed the disable operation. The job must be disabled when you want to skip the job execution. The disabled job will be considered to be pseudo-normal when the preceding job is completed. Therefore, the succeeding job will be executed without being paused.
