Action 1
Points to check
In the Controlling the desired status (Watching delay of job / job net) (*1) frame of the Advanced Settings for Event Output window, that is displayed by clicking Details under Event output on the Event output tab in the Define Jobscheduler Startup Parameters window, was the applicable item selected?
*1: On V13.2.0 or earlier, open the Define Jobscheduler Startup Parameters window and specify this setting in the Event output tab.
In V13.8.0 or later, this is Watching delay of job / job net, not Controlling the desired status.
Action method
In the Controlling the desired status (Watching delay of job / job net) frame, select the applicable item, and then restart the Jobscheduler service/Jobscheduler daemon.
Action 2 [UNIX versions]
Points to check
Was the setting configured so that the user.warning and daemon.warning information will be output to /etc/syslog.conf?
Are you sending HUP signals for syslogd?
Action method
The facility level of each message output to SYSLOG in the Controlling the desired status (Watching delay of job / job net) setting is as follows:
Notify when job net is not started even after the specified start time is lapsed:
user.warning
Notify when job is not terminated even after the specified time is lapsed:
daemon.warning
Notify when job net is not ended even after the specified end time is lapsed:
user.warning
Configure the setting so that the user.warning and daemon.warning information is output to /etc/syslog.conf, and send the HUP signal to syslogd.
Note that, to output a warning level message to the console or messages file, configure the following settings in syslog.conf:
user.warning;daemon.warning /dev/console user.warning;daemon.warning /var/adm/messages |
However, if the above setting was configured, note that all warning level messages in the system will be output to the console or messages file.
