Action 2 [UNIX versions]

Points to check

Action method

If the job net is started, completed, or ended pseudo-normally, the facility level of each message output to SYSLOG is user.info.

Configure the setting so that the user.info information is output to /etc/syslog.conf, and send the HUP signal to syslogd.

Note that, to output an info level message to the console or messages file, configure the following settings in syslog.conf:

user.info /dev/console

user.info /var/adm/messages

However, if the above setting was configured, note that all info level messages in the system will be output to the console or messages file.

Information

The facility level of each message output to SYSLOG for the job net status is as follows:

  • Started:

    user.info

  • Completed:

    user.info

  • Abended:

    user.err

  • Canceled:

    user.err

  • Closed:

  • Refused:

    user.warning

  • Skipped:

    user.warning

  • Pseudo-normal:

    user.info
