• HP-UX versions: 5.2 to V13.2.0

• AIX versions: 5.1 to V13.2.0

Is the assignment expression for the LANG variable and the export command defined in one row as follows?

export LANG=ja

Check the following files for definitions.

Solaris	/etc/default/init
Linux	Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 or earlier: /etc/sysconfig/i18n Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 or later: /etc/locale.conf
HP-UX	/etc/rc.config.d/LANG
AIX	/etc/environment

Cause

The Systemwalker Operation Manager installer does not support assigning the LANG variable and exporting it in the same row.

Action method

Assign the LANG variable and export it in separate rows.

export LANG

Note that if the product is already installed, you will need to uninstall it before changing the definition, and then reinstall.
