Points to check
If all the following conditions are satisfied, a message box with the text in the "Error message" is output and authentication of the startup account fails:
The operating system is Windows(R) XP, Windows Server 2003 STD, Windows Server 2003 DTC, or Windows Server 2003 EE
Active Directory is installed.
The environment is configured as a Backup Domain Controller.
The software is installed with an account that already exists in the domain specified in the Startup Account registration window.
Cause
This error occurs due to a problem with the usage method for the LookupAccountSid function used by the installer.
Action method
Specify an account that does not exist in the domain at the Startup Account registration window that is displayed during installation on a machine that is configured as a Backup Domain Controller. After checking if the account specified at the subsequently displayed Start of File Copy window is synchronized with the Primary Domain Controller, perform installation.
If the conditions indicated in "Points to check" are not satisfied, another cause is likely. Use the Maintenance Information Collection Tool to obtain "common tools" and "integrated installer" information, and then contact Fujitsu technical support.
