Are you monitoring the performance of the RDB system (RDB system name: CENTRIC) of Systemwalker Centric Manager or Systemwalker Desktop Monitor in an environment that has the Operation Management Server of Systemwalker Centric Manager installed, or has both Systemwalker Desktop Monitor and Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator installed?
Cause
The Systemwalker Centric Manager or Systemwalker Desktop Monitor service/daemon stops during installation of Systemwalker Operation Manager. This issue occurs if Systemwalker Centric Manager or Systemwalker Desktop Monitor is stopped in an environment in which Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator is monitoring the performance of the RDB system (RDB system name: CENTRIC) of Systemwalker Centric Manager or Systemwalker Desktop Monitor.
Action method
Before installing Systemwalker Operation Manager, stop Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator and the performance information collection process for the RDB system. Refer to the Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator Manual for details.
Remarks
Note that performance is monitored for the RDB system (RDB system name: CENTRIC) of Systemwalker Centric Manager by default in environments in which the Operation Management Server of Systemwalker Centric Manager and Systemwalker Service Quality Coordinator V13 Manager are installed.
