Is the operating system one of the following?
Windows(R) XP
Windows Server 2003 STD/Windows Server 2003 DTC/Windows Server 2003 EE
This error only occurs on the above operating systems. If you are using one of above operating systems, perform the following procedure to check this error:
In the Windows Run dialog box, execute the DCOMcnfg command.
The Component Services window will be displayed.
In the tree view, expand Component Services, then double-click Computers to display My Computer.
Right-click My Computer, then select Properties to display the My Computer Properties window.
Click the COM Security tab.
In the Access Permissions group box, click Edit Default.
The Access Permission dialog box will be displayed.
Is a group or user name other than "SYSTEM" and "SELF" registered in the Group or user names list?
If registered:
Perform the procedure described in "Action method" section below.
If not registered:
Another cause is possible. Use the Maintenance Information Collection Tool to obtain "common tools" and "integrated installer" information, and then contact Fujitsu technical support.
Cause
This error occurs due to a problem with InstallShield.
Action method
Perform the following procedure:
In the Windows Run dialog box, execute the DCOMcnfg command.
The Component Services window will be displayed.
In the tree view, expand Component Services, then double-click Computers to display My Computer.
Select My Computer, then Right-click it to display the My Computer Properties window.
Select the COM Security tab.
In the Access Permissions group box, click Edit Default.
The Access Permission dialog box will be displayed.
Remove all group and user names from the Group or user names list.
Make a note of all group and user names in the Group or user names list before removing them.
Click OK in the Access Permission dialog box, then click Apply and OK in the COM Security tab.
Perform installation again.
The default values "SELF" and "SYSTEM" are specified by performing step 5 in the Action method above. If you need to set group or user names other than "SELF" and "SYSTEM", do so after installation has completed.
