3.1.1 Effects of Changing the Calendar

If the calendar or day change time is changed after the power schedule or the job net schedule has been configured, there will be various effects, for example, the power schedule or the job net schedule that was set will change. Therefore, as much as possible, avoid changing the settings for the calendar and the day change time after the power schedule or the job net schedule has been configured.

To change calendar or day change time, set as the following procedure:

1. Set up the SYSTEM_CALENDAR (working days, holidays, and the day change time).

2. Set up the power schedule.

3. Set up the job net schedule.

In this section, we have collated the effects of changing the calendar after the power schedule or the job net schedule has been configured. For the effects of the day change time, refer to "5.1.1 Effects of Altering the Day Change Time".

Effects on Power schedule

If the date on which the power schedule has been set is changed to a holiday, that power schedule will be invalid. However, even if this date has been changed to a holiday after the server was powered on, the server will not be powered off until the next scheduled power off time. In this case, if the next day is a holiday, the day change time of the current day will be the next scheduled power off time.

After the power schedule has been set, avoid changing the day change time.

Effects on Service/Application Execution pattern

If the calendar is referenced using the Service/Application Execution pattern, the Service/Application Execution working day is set by linking with the content in the calendar that was changed.

Effects on Job net schedule

If a holiday calendar that has already been registered is changed, you can create the job net startup days that have been specified in that holiday calendar again by selecting a setting that enables this.

To do this, use the Use function2 tab of the Define Jobscheduler Startup Parameters window. To create the job net startup days again, check/edit the startup days after the holiday calendar is changed.
