In the same way as a calendar contains holidays such as Sundays and public holidays, calendars can be created in Systemwalker Operation Manager in which working days and holidays can be set.
The default calendar provided when Systemwalker Operation Manager is installed is the SYSTEM_CALENDAR. Configure holidays and day change times (time when the date changes) in the SYSTEM_CALENDAR registered on the schedule server.
Systemwalker Operation Manager has only one SYSTEM_CALENDAR. When installed, its configuration is as shown below.
Day change time | 00:00 |
Working days/holidays | All working days |
"Working days" are days when the server is powered on, while "holidays" are days when the server remains powered off. Review the SYSTEM_CALENDAR settings to change the working days (weekdays) or holidays when the server is operated.
In addition to being used for power schedules as a calendar to configure working days and holidays, the created calendar can also be used for the following:
Schedule for services or applications that are to be started (Service/Application Execution)
Job net schedules (Jobscheduler)
Action execution conditions (Event Monitoring) [Windows]
Executing calendar-based processing (Calendar API)
Note that the SYSTEM_CALENDAR can also be used to configure the day change time. Refer to "5.1 Determining the Day Change Time" for details on the day change time.
