2.3 Installation

You can select one of the following setup methods for Interstage Studio Client Runtime installation.

Installation type	Outline
Typical installation	Interstage Studio Client Runtime is installed with a standard configuration of functions. This one-touch installation can facilitate Interstage Studio Client Runtime installation.
Custom installation	Necessary Interstage Studio Client Runtime functions (components) can be selected for installation. Interstage Studio Client Runtime can be installed with a functional configuration appropriate for a specific Interstage Studio Client Runtime operation mode.
Overwrite installation	This installation type is useful in an environment where Interstage Studio Client Runtime of the same version is already installed. It is used to: - Uninstall installed components - Install additional components The installation destination folder cannot be changed.

This section explains the Interstage Studio Client Runtime installation procedure for each installation type.

In an environment where related products are already installed

If related products are already installed and this product cannot be installed with the standard function configuration, "custom installation" is selected automatically. Refer to "2.3.2 Custom Installation" for details of the custom installation procedure.
