STXS1027 ERROR The specified parameter is invalid. [parameter name=parameterName, parameter value=parameterValue]

Explanation

STXS2001 ERROR The specified user name and password have not been registered in the device. [user=userName]

Explanation

The user name and password have not been registered on the ETERNUS Disk storage system.

Check whether the user name and password are correct.

STXS2002 ERROR The specified user does not have privileges greater than that of an administrator. [user=userName]

Explanation

The user does not have Administrator privileges.

The ETERNUS Disk storage system could not be logged into for one of the following reasons:

  • The maximum number of connections to the ETERNUS Disk storage system has been reached.

  • The specified user information is invalid or does not match the user information that is registered in the ETERNUS Disk storage system.

  • The specified user information registered in AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module is invalid or does not match the user information in the ETERNUS Disk storage system.

userName : User name

System action

The system terminates processing.

System administrator response

  • When the maximum number of connections to the ETERNUS Disk storage system has been reached:

    Wait for a while, and then try again.

  • When the user information does not match:

    Check the user name, password, privileges, or role registered in the ETERNUS Disk storage system by using ETERNUS Web GUI and try again.

    The user information of the ETERNUS Disk storage system may have been changed, disabled, or deleted. Check the user information registered in the ETERNUS Disk storage system.

    • When it has been changed:

      Delete the user information that was registered before the change by using "Deleting the Devices" in AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module, and then register the user information after the change by performing "Adding the Devices".

    • When it has been disabled:

      Use ETERNUS Web GUI to enable the user information that is registered in AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module.

    • When it has been deleted:

      Use ETERNUS Web GUI to re-register the user information that is registered in AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module.

STXS2013 ERROR The specified user does not have the "Software" role. [user=userName]

Explanation

The specified user does not have the "Software" role.

Parameters

userName : User name

System administrator response

Create a user account with "Software" role by using ETERNUS Web GUI or ETERNUS CLI. Then, specify this user.

STXS4002 ERROR The device is not supported. [IP address=ipAddress, model=modelName, type=type]

The following are possible causes:

  • The status of ETERNUS Disk storage system is abnormal.

  • The component of ETERNUS Disk storage system failed.

  • Network environment is invalid.

  • LAN connection status is invalid.

  • Number of disks used exceeds the number of disks that can be installed.

  • The setting command is executed again before the setting process is complete in the ETERNUS Disk storage system.

After checking the causes listed above, wait for a while, try again. If you still have a problem, collect the information required for troubleshooting as described in the following manual and contact a Fujitsu system engineer.
