For a Management Server and PC, refer to the ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide to install and set up their respective components.
For the Exchanger Server that performs backups and Backup server, install and set up AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
For more information, refer to "8.2.2 Operation Design" and "8.2.3 Preparation".
Register the database information of each database copy on a server of DAG members that performs backups.
For more information, refer to "8.2.3.2.5 Registering database information".
Activate a target database copy.
Specify the database and execute swsrpdbinfo_exchange (Exchange database information registration command).
Note
After performing this procedure, do not execute swsrpdbinfo_exchange (Exchange database information registration command) with -clean or -delete option. If the command has been executed, it is necessary to register the database information again.
If any change has been made in a database configuration, it is necessary to register its database information again.
Register the database information of DB1 and DB2 on EX1 and EX2.
Activate the database copy of DB1 on EX1.
Move-ActiveMailboxDatabase DB1 -ActivateOnServer EX1 |
Activate the database copy of DB2 on EX2.
