Apply the updates in single user mode. Restore the multi user mode after the updates have been applied.

Use the following procedure to stop the services, apply the updates, and restart the services.
Stopping file transfer infrastructure
Stop the file transfer infrastructure.
Use the services feature of Windows to stop the services with a user that has administrator privileges.
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Administrative Tools, and then, double-click Services.
Select Systemwalker File Transfer Library Control, and click the Stop button.
Applying updates
Apply the updates according to the explanations for the updates to be applied.
