When changing the IPv6 address of the server running the Management Server
To change only the IPv6 address of the server running the Management Server, No procedure shown in this section is necessary. However, to set the IPv6 address which changed in Linked Server or Relay Server as connection information of Management Server, changing the setting of Linked Server or Relay Server is necessary. Refer to "8.4.3 Changing Host Name and IP Address of Linked Servers and Relay Servers" for details.
When changing the host name or IPv4 address of the server running the Management Server
To change the host name or IPv4 address of the server running the Management Server, follow the steps below.
Note
Before performing this task, confirm that own host name is not specified in host file. If it is specified, delete it. Redefine deleted item after finishing this task.
Point
Before performing this task, it is recommended that you back up files in case any abnormalities occur. Refer to "8.3 Backup and Restoration" for information on how to back up files.
To change the host name/IP address of the server running the Management Server, one writable empty directory will be needed as a work area. Do not delete this work area while changing work will be completed.
It is necessary to change the settings of the Linked Server/Relay Server in accordance with the changed host name/IP address of the server running the Management Server. Refer to "8.4.3 Changing Host Name and IP Address of Linked Servers and Relay Servers" for details.
There is no need to perform this procedure if only the IPv6 address of the server where the Management Server is running is to be changed. However, if IPv6 addresses have been set on Linked Servers or Relay Servers as part of the connection information for the Management Server, it is necessary to change the settings on the Linked Servers or Relay Servers.
If either Systemwalker Centric Manager or Systemwalker Operation Manager has been installed and is running on the server operating Management Server, it is necessary to change the host name/IP address changes of these products (refer to the Systemwalker Centric Manager Installation Guide or Systemwalker Operation Manager Installation Guide for details). However, it is not necessary to execute the Interstage system information export/import mentioned in Systemwalker Centric Manager Installation Guide.
To change the host name/IP address, one writable empty directory will be needed as a work area. Create empty directory of the absolute path within 25 alphanumeric characters. The rough amount of space for work area is as follows.
The requisite amount of work area = Total amount of under install directory of Interstage Application Server (*1) x 1.2 |
(*1) The install directory of Interstage Application Server is as below.
[Windows]
It is any of the following directory.
If standard install
C:\Fujitsu\Systemwalker\IAPS
If custom install
[The directory specified as install direction]\IAPS
[Linux]
It is total amount of the following directory

If Systemwalker Centric Manager Operation Management Server is installed, then start all Systemwalker Centric Manager functions.
[Windows]
<Systemwalker Centric Manager installation directory>\MPWALKER.DM\bin\scentricmgr /a
[Linux]
/opt/systemwalker/bin/scentricmgr -a
Start Systemwalker Runbook Automation.
[Windows]
<Systemwalker Runbook Automation Management Server installation directory>\bin\swrba_start
[Linux]
/opt/FJSVswrbam/bin/swrba_start
Note
Mail Server (SMTP Server) information recorded on the Management Server cannot be changed with this procedure. If a mail server has been built on the server running the Management Server, it is necessary to execute "8.4.1 Changing the Mail Server Information Registered on the Management Server".
If Interstage Single Sign-On is used as the authentication infrastructure, perform "8.4.2.1 Changing Interstage Single Sign-On Host Names" after this procedure.
To change the Interstage Single Sign-On host name of the server used to run the Management Server, follow the steps below.
