9.3.1 Confirm/Delete Device Information

The procedure for confirming various device information of “By Section”, “By Location” and “By Category”:

Log onto the main menu, click [Management Ledger].
The [Management Ledger] window will be displayed
Click [Management Target].
The following window will be displayed

Confirm the device information by section.

According to the drop-down menu on the left of the window, select [Select Section] from the list.

The following window will be displayed

The meaning of each item is as follows: besides, it describes the situation of all visible column(s).

Item Name	Descriptions
[Section]	Section information.
[Number of People Belonged]	Number of users subordinate to the section.
[Number of Total Device(s)]	Total number of device managed in the section.
[Number of PC(s)]	Total Number of PC(s) managed in the section. The [Class] item registered as device information is the sum of “PC” values.
[Number of Unused PC(s)]	Total number of unused PC managed in each section. The [Availability] item registered as device information is the sum of values excluding [In Use].
[Number of non-PC(s) ]	Total Number of non-PC(s) managed in each section. The [Class] item registered as device information is the sum of values excluding “PC”.

Besides, the function of each button is as follows:

Item Name	Descriptions
[Add]	Register the device information. For details, please refer to “9.3.2 Register/Modify Device Information”.
[History Search]	Filter to display the history information. For details, please refer to “9.3.1.4 Confirm History Information”.
[Search]	Filter to display the device displayed in the window. For details, please refer to “Filter device”.
[CSV Export]	Save the information displayed in the window as the ledger. For details, please refer to “9.3.3 Save Device Information as Ledger”.

Confirm the device information by location.

According to the drop-down menu on the left of the window, select [By Location] from the list.

The meaning of each item is as follows:

Besides, it describes the situation of all visible column(s). And the action of the button is the same as the window of device confirmation by section described previously.

Item Name	Descriptions
[Setup Place]	The setting location of the machine.
[Number of People Belonged]	Number of users subordinate to the setting location.
[Number of Total Device(s)]	Total number of device managed in the setting location.
[Number of PC(s)]	Total Number of PC(s) managed in the setting location. The [Class] item registered as device information is the sum of “PC” values.
[Number of Unused PC(s)]	Total Number of Unused PC(s) managed in each setting location. The [Availability] item registered as device information is the sum of values excluding “In Use”.
[Number of non-PC(s)]	Total Number of non-PC(s) managed in each setting location. The [Class] item registered as device information is the sum of values excluding “PC”.

Remarks. When selecting the whole company, number of device with the setting location unset will be aggregated in the sum.

Confirm the device information by classification.

According to the drop-down menu on the left of the window, select [By Classification] from the list.

Besides, it describes the situation of all visible column(s). Besides, the function of the button is the same as the window of device confirmation by section described previously.

Item Name	Descriptions
[Class]	Device classification information. The [Class] information registered as device information.
[Type]	Device category information. The [Type] information registered as device information.
[Numbers]	Total number of device managed in the classification and category unit. Sum of values of each [Class] and [Type] registered as device information.
[Number of Unused]	Total number of unused device managed in the classification and category unit. The [Usage Status] item registered as device information is the sum of values excluding “In Use”.

Set visible column(s)

It describes how to set the items displayed in the window.

Click the [Displayed Item Setting] button.
The following window will be displayed
Besides, the window when clicking the [Displayed Item Setting] button in the following window of device confirmation by section will be displayed.
Set the visible column(s) according to the following procedure.
1. Select items displayed in the PC List from the [Items That Can be Displayed] list on the left side of the window and click the [>>] button in the center of the window. Multiple items can be selected.
  The selected items are added to [Visible Column(s)] on the right side of the window.
2. Select items not displayed in the PC List from the [Visible Column(s)] on the right side of the window, and click the [<<] button in the center of the window. Multiple items can be selected.
  The selected items are deleted from [Visible Column(s)] on the right side of the window.
3. When modifying the order of [Visible Column(s)], select items from the [Visible Column(s)] list on the right side of the window and click the [Move Up] or [Move Down] button.
After completing the setting of visible column(s), click the [OK] button.
The visible column(s) of list of device are added to the set items.

Filter device

It describes how to filter the device displayed in the window.

Click the [Device Search] button.
The following window will be displayed

Set filtering aggregation.

Set the following information and click the [Search] button.

[Partially Match Search] Set when searching asset number by partially match [Search the device that is not input.] Set when searching asset number as device which have not been input
	[Device Name]	Set conditions when filtering by device name.
	[Class]	Set conditions when filtering by classification. Set the filtering conditions through the list on the left side. [Match] Set when searching the device matching the classification selected from the list on the right side. [Not Match] Set when searching the device not matching the classification selected from the list on the right side.
	[Type]	Set conditions when filtering by category. Set the filtering conditions through the list on the left side. [Match] Set when searching the device matching the category selected from the list on the right side. [Not Match] Set when searching the device not matching the category selected from the list on the right side.
	[Availability]	Set conditions when filtering by Usage Status. Set the filtering conditions through the list on the left side. [Match] Set when searching the device matching the Usage Status selected from the list on the right side. [Not Match] Set when searching the device not matching the Usage Status selected from the list on the right side.
	[Collect Information]	Set conditions when filtering according to whether Inventory information exists. Set “o” when searching the device with Inventory information, set “x” when searching device without Inventory information.
[PC Spec]	[Match with all conditions] or [Match with some conditions]	For conditions set in the [PC Specification] bar, select [All Conditions Match] with all containing multiple conditions or [Any Condition Match] containing 1 or more conditions.
	[CPU Clock Speed]	Set conditions when filtering by CPU Clock Speed. Including the decimal point, 6 single-byte numbers at most can be set.
	[Total Memory Size]	Set conditions when filtering by total free disk capacity. Including the decimal point, 6 single-byte numbers at most can be set.
	[Total Disk Capacity]	Set conditions when filtering by total disk capacity. Including the decimal point, 6 single-byte numbers at most can be set.
	[Total Free Disk Capacity]	Set conditions when filtering by total free disk capacity. Including the decimal point, 6 single-byte numbers at most can be set.

Only the items matching the search will be displayed in the window.

9.3.1.2 Confirm List of Device

The procedure for confirming list of various device of “In Section”, [In Classification] and [In Location] are as follows:

Besides, the procedure will be followed “9.3.1.1 Confirm Various Device Information”. The following is described according to the window of “In Section”. The order of the visible column(s) of “In Classification” is different from that of “In Location”, but they can be confirmed according to the same procedure.

Click the values of items to be confirmed ([Number of Total Device(s)], [Number of PC(s)], [Number of Unused PC(s)] and [Number of non-PC(s)]).

Confirm the device list of the selected items.

[User ID]	User ID of the user who uses the machine. The [User ID] information registered as device information.
[User Name]	Name of the user who uses the machine.
[Asset Number]	Asset management number of the machine. The [Assets Management No.] information registered as device information.
[Related Asset Number]	Related asset number of the machine. The [Related Assets Management No.] registered as device information.
[Setup Place]	Device setting location information.
[Class]	Device classification information. The [Class] information registered as device information.
[Type]	Device category information. The [Type] information registered as device information.
[Availability]	Device Usage Status. The [Usage status] information registered as device information.
[Device Name]	Name of the machine. The [Device Name] information registered as device information.
[Manufacturer Name]	Device manufacturer name. The [Manufacturer Name] information registered as device information.
[Model Name]	Device Model Name. The [Model Name] information registered as device information.
[Serial Number]	Device serial number. The [Serial Number] information registered as device information.
[Asset Classification]	Device asset classification. The [Asset Classification] information registered as device information.
[User Memo 1~60]	Device inherent information . The [User Memo(DTPA) 1~60] information registered as device information.
[Path Name of Link]	Data related to the device (example: device image) or these input directory and URL. The [Path Name of Linkage Target] information registered as device information.
[Contract No.]	Contract number information. The [Contract No.] information registered as device information.
[Mainte Code]	Device maintenance code. The [Maintenance Code] registered as device information.
[CPU]	CPU Clock Speed of PC.
[Total Memory Size]	Total memory capacity of PC.
[Total Disk Capacity]	Total hard disk capacity of PC.
[Total Free Disk Capacity]	Available hard disk capacity of PC.
[OS Name]	OS name of PC.
[Service Pack]	Service Pack applied in PC.
[IP Address 1]	IP address set in PC.
[IP Address 2]	IP address set in PC.
[MAC Address 1]	MAC address set in PC.
[MAC Address 2]	MAC address set in PC.
[Date of Manufacture]	Device date of manufacture.
[Date of Registration]	Date for registering to the device asset ledger.
[Collection Date/Time]	Date and time for collecting information.
[Collect Information]	Indicate whether Inventory information exists. “o” indicates Inventory information exists, while “x” indicates Inventory information does not exist. The Inventory information has been deleted manually, it is still displayed as “x”.
User Definition Inherent Item	As Inventory information, it is the user memo set by the user arbitrarily. The user is displayed as the set item and user memo. For example, after the user has set “Asset Number”, “Asset Number” will be displayed.

Besides, the list of device can also be confirmed according to the following procedure. Please operate when confirming in the unit of section.

Click the [List of Device] tab.

9.3.1.3 Confirm Device Details

The procedure for confirming the device details are as follows.

Besides, the unnecessary device information can be deleted during confirmation.

Or the procedure is followed “9.3.1.2 Confirm List of Device”, “9.3.1.4 Confirm History Information”, “9.4.1.3 Confirm Details of Contract”, “9.5.1.2 Confirm List of Stocktaking”.

Click the asset number of device to be confirmed.

The following window will be displayed

The function of each button is as follows:

[Back]	Display the previous window.
[Delete]	Delete the device information. For details, please refer to “9.3.1.5 Delete Device Information”.
[Modify]	Modify the device information. For details, please refer to “9.3.2 Register/Modify Device Information”.
[Modify Comment]	This button is displayed only in case the [Update History Information] tab is selected. Set the [Annotation] for update history. Including single-byte alphanumeric characters, single-byte symbols and multi-byte characters, 64 characters at most can be set for the annotation. Besides, when the annotation has been set for the update history modified multiple items by one operation, annotation will be set for all update history of this operation.
[PC Information]	Display PC information window. Device with Inventory information are displayed only through this button.
[CSV Export]	Save the information displayed in the window as ledger. For details, please refer to “9.3.3 Save Device Information as Ledger”.

Confirm the device details of selected items.
Besides, when [Setup Place] meets the following 2 conditions at the same time, [Supplement for Setting Location] set in the segment management window will be enclosed by brackets.
- Conditions for display: device which has been set IP address and whose setting location has been confirmed through IP address and the setting location matches.
- Example of display: Shikoku Branch Office (8F South)
When selecting the [Asset Information] tab
The asset information is displayed. Main-body Information and network information of the device can be viewed.
When selecting the [Related Device Information] tab
The related device information is displayed. Device list information related to the organization can be viewed.
When selecting the [User Memo(DTPA)] tab
The user memo is displayed. [User Memo(DTPA) 1~60] registered as device information can be viewed.
When selecting the [Contract Information] tab
The contract information is displayed. The contract information distributed in the device can be viewed.
When selecting the [Update History Information] tab
The update history information is displayed. The update history information of the device can be viewed.

9.3.1.4 Confirm History Information

When confirming the update history of the device information, through the filter specified according to the range of the unit and modification date of asset information/device information/contract information, extract the correspondent device list.

Confirm the device list by filtering update history

Log onto the main menu and click [Management Ledger].
The [Management Ledger] window will be displayed
Click [Management Target].
The following window will be displayed
Click the [History Search] button.
The following window will be displayed

Set the following filtering conditions and click the [Search] button.

[History Information]	[Target Period]	Selected when filtering through the object period with device information modified.
	[New]	Selected when the new added operation history is contained in the filtering object.
	[Modify]	Selected when the modified operation history is contained in the filtering object. Or select whether to search the modification of a certain item through [Asset Number] on the right side, etc.
	[Delete]	Selected when the deleted operation history is contained in the filtering object.
[Operation]	[Match with all conditions] or [Match with some conditions]	For conditions set in the [Device Information [bar, select [All Conditions Match] with all containing multiple conditions or [Any Condition Match] containing 1 or more conditions.
	[Asset Number]	Set conditions when filtering by asset number. Set the filtering conditions through the list on the left side. [Partially Match Search] Set when searching the asset number by partially match [Search the device that is not input]
	[Device Name]	Set conditions when filtering by device name.
	[Section]	Set conditions when filtering by section.
	[Setup Place]	Set conditions when filtering by setting location.

The filtering items specified in the device information (asset number, section, etc.) filter the current device status.

The [History Search Result] window will be displayed

Confirm the following information.

[Update Date/Time]	Date and time for update.
[Operation]	Operation to the device information. Any of the following is displayed. New Modify Delete
[Comment]	Annotation for device information modification history. When registering/modifying/deleting the device information in [Annotation], the annotation set automatically or set by the user will be displayed. In the following operations, the annotation will be set automatically. Modify PC adding/PC information through automatic reflection The annotation is changed to “Automatic Synchronization”. Access the setting location through inventory result Register or remove distribute through the [Contract Information Distribution] window The annotation is changed to “Modify through Contract Information Distribution”.
[Section]	Section information.
[User ID]	The user ID of the user who uses the machine. The [User ID] information registered as device information.
[User Name]	Name of the user who uses the machine.
[Asset Number]	Asset management number of the machine. The [Asset Management No.] information registered as device information.
[Related Asset Number]	Related asset number of the machine. The [Related Assets Management No.] information registered as device information. Not displayed in the deleted machine.
[Setup Place]	Device setting location information.
[Class]	Device classification information. The [Class] information registered as device information.
[Type]	Device category information. The [Type] information registered as device information.
[Availability]	Device Usage Status. The [Usage Status] information registered as device information. The deleted device will be displayed as [Deleted]. Device deleted by sequencing according to [Usage Status] only can be extracted.
[Device Name]	Name of the machine. The [Device Name] information registered as device information.
[User Memo(DTPA) 1~60]	Device inherent information . The [User Memo(DTPA) 1~60] information registered as device information. Not displayed in the deleted machine.
[Contract No.]	Contract number information. The [Contract No.] information registered as device information.
[Mainte Code]	Device maintenance code. The [Maintenance Code] registered as device information.
[Collection Date/Time]	Date and time for collecting information. Not displayed in the deleted machine.
[Collect Information]	Indicate whether Inventory information exists. “o” indicates Inventory exists, while “x” indicates Inventory information does not exist. Not displayed in the deleted machine.
[User Definition Inherent Items]	As Inventory information, it is the user memo set by the user arbitrarily. The user is displayed as the set item and inherent information. For example, after the user has set “Asset Number”, “Asset Number” will be displayed. Not displayed in the deleted machine.

The list of device output from the [History Filtering Result] window is output one line in one operation. Even if multiple items are modified in one operation, one line of result will be displayed.

When other application and so on are using history filtering result, click the [CSV Export] button, files in Excel/CSV format are output.
When viewing update history by device unit, click the link of device name (or asset number) to be viewed.
The following window will be displayed
Click the [Update History Information] tab.
The following window will be displayed
The information before and after modification output to the [Update History] window will display the updated information.

Confirm the update history of the selected machine.

Confirm the following information.
