3.6.2 Check the Status of Synchronization

Check the status of synchronization as follows.

  1. Select the required transaction volume from the Site view and right-click it to invoke the context menu.

  2. Select the [Status] item from the context menu and then select the [Synchronization] item in the submenu to invoke the [Synchronization Status] dialog box.

  3. Select the [Status] from the context menu to display the submenu. Click [Synchronization] to display the [Synchronization Status] dialog box.

  4. Click [Refresh] to refresh the status information.

    Description

    Transaction Volume

    Displays a transaction volume name.

    Backup Volume

    Displays a backup volume name.

    "----" is displayed when there is no backup synchronization in progress.

    Status

    Displays the execution status.

    • "----" : There is no backup synchronization in progress.

    • "executing" : Synchronization is in progress, and the status is pre-equivalency maintenance.

    • "equivalent" : There is an equivalency maintenance status.

    • "suspend" : The EC or the GDS software copy has been suspended.

    • "failed" : Backup synchronization has terminated abnormally.

    • "nosession" : The session does not exist (the resource information does not match).

    • "halt" : The backup synchronization has been halted.

    • "gds-error" : Copying with GDS has terminated abnormally.

    Progress

    Displays the EC or GDS software copy execution status as a percentage (%).

    "----" is displayed when the copy is suspended, and during backup synchronization.
