Chapter 4 : UNIX/IA Server Data Transfers | > 4.1 Functions |
This section explains the data format when receiving data from the opposing server.
The record conversion when saving the file of the server system (UNIX/IA server) (source of the transfer) to the target client system (UNIX/IA server) is as follows:
The exact same data as the source is saved.
When using the Change Separator Function with the transfer command, specify both of the [line feed code of the client system] and [line feed code of the sever system] values when executing the command.
For the [line feed code of the client system] value, specify the character code used for separating each record of the target file that stores the data, and for the [line feed code of the sever system] value, specify the character code used for separating each record of the source file.
The record is transferred as it is converted from the [line feed code of the sever system] of the source file to the [line feed code of the client system], based on these specifications.
In addition, the transfers can be performed while converting the line feed code of the UNIX server (0x0a) to the line feed code of the IA server (0x0d0a) when the IA server receives data from the UNIX server.
For detailed instructions, refer to the section on the mftfrecv command of the transfer command.
