Chapter 4 : UNIX/IA Server Data Transfers | > 4.1 Functions |
This section explains the data format when sending data to the opposing server.
The record conversion when saving the file of the UNIX/IA server (source of the transfer), to the target UNIX/IA server is as follows:
The same data as the source is saved.
When using the Change Separator Function with the transfer command, specify the [separator code of the server system] and the [separator code of the client system] values.
For the [separator code of the client system] value, specify the character code used for separating each record of the source file, and for the [separator code of the server system] value, specify the character code used for separating each record of the target file that stores the data.
The record is transferred as it is converted from the [separator code of the client system] of the source file to the [separator code of the server system], based on these specifications.
In addition, transfers can be performed while converting the line feed code of the UNIX server (0x0a) to the line feed code of the IA server (0x0d0a) when transferring data from the UNIX server to the IA server.
For detailed instructions, refer to the section on the mftfsend command of the transfer command.
