E.3.1 Messages Explanations

  1. Open the file shown below by text editor.

    [Windows System Folder]\drivers\etc\services
  2. Check whether there is expected TCP port in the file. If there is not the Port in the file, add the port.

Make sure whether the Computer Browser service is started. (Only when the computer belongs to a Windows domain)

If the computer belongs to a Windows domain, it is required that the Computer Browser service has been started in order to use the ETERNUS Web GUI.

For this reason, make sure that the [Status] of the Computer Browser service is [Started] by clicking on [Control Panel] > [Administrative Tools] > [Services].

Description

Configuration of specified device is being changed or update processing of status is operating.

  • Although the Disk storage system has multiple IP addresses, registration for the Disk storage system is required with only one IP address. When you want to change the Disk storage system's IP address, register the Disk storage system again as shown in "Chapter 6 Operation".
