6.1.14 Restore FOS configutaion

This section describes how to restore to a virtualization switch the FOS settings stored in a FTP server.

Note

  • This feature is not available to VS900 Model 200.

  • Specify the absolute path of the directory.

  • Directory names with spaces cannot be used.

  1. Select a virtualization switch in the Maintenance window, then click <Restore FOS configuration>.

    Alternatively, select the virtualization switch, then select [Operation] - [Restore FOS configuration].

  2. In the " Restore FOS configuration" dialog box, click <OK>.

  3. The " Restore FOS configuration" dialog box appears.

  4. Enter the fields as described below.

    IP address of FTP server

    IP address of the FTP server where the FOS configuration file is stored.

    The value must be IPv4-compliant -IPv6-compliant addresses cannot be entered. Only numbers and periods can be entered.

    Login name of FTP server

    Name used to login to the FTP server.

    Only alphanumerics and symbols can be entered.

    Password of FTP server

    User's password.

    Only alphanumerics and symbols can be entered.

    Restore file name

    Path and filename of the FOS configuration file to be restored.

    Only alphanumerics and symbols other than backslash (\) can be entered.

  5. Click <OK>.

  6. In the confirmation dialog box, click <OK>.

  7. In the message dialog box will be displayed, click <Close>.

    The FOS configuration stored in the specified FTP server is restored to the virtualization switch.
